Azolla

     Azolla: It is small fern plant grown on water. The Azolla contains protein around 25% which can be included in feeding of animal along with concentrate mixture. It can be only supplemented with normal feeding regime of animals but can never replace the different fodders fed to animals. One good suggestion is to grow Azolla in the paddy fields for feeding of animals. The following pictures show the procedure for cultivation of Azolla.
